Carol A. Schroyer

Carol Ann Schroyer (McGowan), 75, was born on April 23, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA.  Carol departed this life on April 20, 2024 in Fort Myers, FL surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was a resident of Naples, FL for the last 12 years where she enjoyed spending time with her friends playing dominoes and relaxing on her lanai.

She grew up in Briarcliff, PA and attended Our Lady of Fatima Parochial School in Secane and Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield, PA.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Schroyer; her parents, John and Miriam McGowan; and her sister, Linda M. Bell.  Carol is survived by her daughters, Erika D. O’Neill (John O’Neill) of Jim Thorpe, PA and Kobi A. Klingensmith of Lansford, PA; siblings Margaret K. Brown of Frankford, DE, John A. McGowan of West Chester, PA and Dennis McGowan of Media, PA; her four grandchildren, Gregory, James, Victoria and Gabrielle; step-children Patti Cohen, Bill Schroyer and Diana Robins as well as many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

A private gathering will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
