April 8, 1932 ~ November 17, 2016 (age 84) 84 Years Old
Estelle Delfino passed away on November 17 in Naples at the age of 84.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Antonino Malara and Carmela Viola. Estelle is survived by her husband Joseph and was predeceased by her sisters Eleanor Isenberg, Elvira Abbene and Marie DeVito. She was also predeceased by two infant grandchildren; David N. Bachman and Joseph A. Delfino.
She is also survived by her children Nancy (Peter) Tucci, Carol Delfino and Louis (Mary) Delfino but was predeceased by her daughter Patricia (Oren) Bachman in October.  Estelle and her husband were blessed by 14 grandchildren: Christopher, Elizabeth, Paul and Peter Tucci; Peter, Sarah and Jacob Bachman; Glenice, Alex, Tyler and Katie Anderson; Matthew, Michael and MaryGrace Delfino.
Estelle attended Washington Irving HS in NY and also Pace College Secretarial School. Prior to her marriage she worked for several years as a law clerk in the office of Judge Frankenthaler and later for Henry Kohn
Esq.. In her youth she had studied piano for several years and enjoyed playing duets with her husband to whom she taught basics after they acquired a piano.  Estelle was also a fine tailor and made many of her clothes before the task of raising children and tending a home became higher priorities. Active in her church,she served as President of the St. Anne’s Guild of St Vito’s Church in Mamaroneck NY where she raised her children.
Retiring to Naples with her husband in 1992, Estelle looked forward to the many trips they took cross country and to Europe. She soon became a serious MahJongg player and participated in many game sessions and tournaments. She was a member of the Naples Italian American Foundation and the Italian Cultural Society.  Throughout her married life she was a patient and supportive wife to her husband Joseph in his many community activities. They were happily married for 61+  years.
The family is grateful for the care and compassion given to Estelle by Avow Hospice Services and
Independent Provider Pearly Ward and her team.
A memorial Mass will be offered on December 3rd at 12 noon at St. William’s Catholic Church in Naples.
Interment will be private.
