Ruth O. Tullis, 91, a resident of The Carlisle Naples since 2002, passed away on April 12, 2014.
She was born to Wilbur H. and Effie (Fogle) Otting on June 7, 1922 in Newport, KY. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati where she was an active member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. It was there that she met her husband of 58 years, the late Dick E. Tullis. Their married life was spent in Dayton, OH.
Ruth is survived by her three children, Sally (Tom) Elliott of Delaplane, VA, Mark (Vicki) Tullis of Cincinnati, OH, and Scott (Jan) Tullis of Portland, OR; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Ruth’s family was her real pride and joy. She will always be remembered for her good nature and kind-heartedness.
A private burial will be held in Dayton, OH. Memorial contributions can be made to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.
