Stuart Alva Margolin, 83, of Naples died Thursday, August 6, 2015 in his home, following a fight with cancer.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Janice, his son Bruce (Daisy), his daughter Pamela (Mike) Cohen, grandchildren Danielle and Zach Crump, Andrew Margolin, Eric and Lauren Cohen, Sister-in-Laws Julie Margolin and Phyllis Korsak, nephews, niece and friends.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Nathan and Harriet Margolin, he was a lifelong resident of Harrington Park, NJ; Sanibel Island, Florida and eventually Naples, Florida where he enjoyed his retirement years.
Attended Adelphi University, Lake Champlain College and the Massachusetts School of Pharmacy. Met his wife Janice Korsak in Boston, MA and were married May 1, 1957 in Boston.
After joining The Williams & Wells Co. in 1957, a family business, he became the President & CEO building an international marine supply company and was well respected in the industry. The business was his hobby, although Mr. Margolin had a passion for travel, bike riding and the NY Mets.
A graveside funeral service will be held August 10th at 10:15AM at Palm Royale Cemetery, Naples, Florida. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or VITAS Healthcare.
