Bud was a giant of a man to me. As I was growing up in Flint, I always admired him as a customer of two of my former businesses. I remember to this day, a paperweight he had in his former office on N. Saginaw Street that had the legend "The Speed of the Boss, is the Speed of the Gang".
I have fond memories of our occasional interactions. He is missed.
