Birute O. (Bobby) Suziedelis, 85 of Naples, Fl. Died on April 25, 2017. She was born in Sakiai, Lithuania, as the third among four children in the family of the late Joseph and Ona Orintas. She is survived by her husband Vytautas A. (Vito) Susiedelis. She was predeceased by her brothers Valentinas Orintas, Edmund Orintas and her sister Otilia (Orintas) Berzinskas. She leaves five nephews and nieces.

Bobby spent her childhood years on a large ranch owned by her parents and gained an early appreciation of hard work, independence and love of nature. These personal traits guided her future lifelong interests and pursuits. The Orintas family left Lithuania shortly before the end of World War II. Under the guidance of their father, who was an American citizen, the family immigrated to the United States in 1949 and settled in Brockton, MA. As a young teenager Bobby was very proud to see prompt reinstatement of her U.S. citizenship.

She relocated to New York area to study office management and accounting and was subsequently employed in that capacity for nine years at a small electronics research firm in Boston MA. In 1965 she joined the Boston office of the national accounting firm Arthur Young & Company (later, Ernst & Young) and remained in charge of the internal bookkeeping for the next 14 years until February 1979. Bobby took early retirement to assist her husband in managing their real estate investments and aircraft charter operations. She was an active pilot and had accumulated over 1000 hours of flight time.

Bobby loved competitive tennis throughout her life and participated on several women’s teams in Southern Massachusetts and later at Pelican Bay in Naples. She was truly an outdoor person at heart and sensitive to the issues of preserving the natural wildlife habitat throughout the world. Her most memorable travels were to explore the wilderness while on safaris in Africa, on excursions through the jungles of South America and in the open spaces of Alaska. After becoming permanent Florida residents Bobby and her husband joined the newly organized Pelican Isle Yacht Club in North Naples and enjoyed many years of boat cruising in the Gulf and throughout the inland waters of South Florida.

The Suziedelis family has been members of St. William Catholic Parish since 1991. A memorial mass for Bobby will be offered at the parish church on Seagate Drive in North Naples on Friday April 28, 2017 at 10am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be contributed in her name to Avow Hospice 1095 Whippoorwill Lane Naples, Florida 34105
