We were neighbors of Coleman and Marilyn when they lived on White Springs Lane in Geneva. It was always a pleasure talking with them and we missed them when they permanently moved to Naples in the 1990s.

I wrote a note to Marilyn at their Pelican Bay Blvd. address in Naples but it has been returned. Is there a chance I could get her current address? Thanks

My thoughts and prayers are with the Connell family. I had the opportunity to work with Coleman at Goulds and I must say that I remember him fondly......he was a real gentleman......he was a class act.

First let me express my sympathy. I found Mr Coleman Connell to be a first-rate man of caring, conviction and charisma. I am a better person because of him.
It was 1974 when I first heard of Coleman as I was beginning a career with Goulds. It wasn't long before I would recognize him on the campus and he had learned my name. His taking the time to converse with a newcomer left a lasting impression. He was. The face of Goulds, the Goulds Family.
God bless Coleman! RIP

Marilyn and Family - You are in my prayers at this sad time. Coleman was a special man and always a joy to be with. He was a great conversationalist and always had stories to tell when he and Marilyn would meet us in Water Oak on their way up to Atlanta. Those are great memories!

Coleman was a dear man. Always a gentleman, always welcoming and tolerant. As a young businessman, I had may occasions to seek Coleman's authorizations or counsel. He always treated me as a peer despite his executive status and my youthful inexperience. I think of him often and always with great fondness. Coleman represented all that was great about Goulds Pumps and noble values. Lynda & I send our love to Marylyn, my old friend Dick and all the Connell family.

Dear Marilyn,
Very sorry to hear about Coleman. As you recall, he and I worked together at Gould Pumps for a long time. For awhile, he was my boss. He was a man of upmost integrity and interest to improve the Company. As the saying goes--he was "Goulds Blue"!

Coleman was one of the finest gentleman I knew. He was a wonderful friend of the Historical Society in Seneca Falls, NY. He will be greatly missed by all. My prayers are with the family.

Dear Marilyn,
We were sorry to read in today's Naples News of the death of Coleman. Besides being quite successful in this career, he was a real gentleman.
