Jim helped to recruit me to Merrill Lynch. Always had a positive outlook. He will be missed.

I met Jim in April 1998 when he and I were two of twelve supernumeraries in rehearsal for Baltimore Opera Company's production of Der fliegende Holländer (The Flying Dutchman. That opera was my first experience as a super and it may have been his as well. I gather that at that time he was living in Towson, MD, the boyhood home of James Morris, a star at The Metropolitan Opera, one of the recognized masters of the role of The Dutchman, and the singer of this role in the production.
Although I don't believe that I saw him after the last performance, I have never forgotten his grace and his exceptional friendliness. Maybe I will see him again in Valhalla someday.

Marge and Weaver Family, I got to meet Jim and pass out prize tickets with him at the Hershey Lodge a few years ago. It was an honor to work side by side with Jim for a few hours. You guys were blessed to have such a kind and knowledgeable man in your family. What great memories you must have. Hold on tight to them. My deepest sympathy.

Scott, Deb & the Weaver family at large - our sincerest condolences. We know that words can't begin to fill the void created by your father's passing. Hopefully fond memories of your Dad along with the love and support that can only come family & good friends will sustain you during your hour of loss. Godspeed.

I wish to express my deepest condolence to the entire Weaver family. Jim was a great American and believed in the system that has enabled the USA to become so very prosperous and successful. He was always interested in others and their professional development, family and good works. I owe him a lot for making me a better investor....and his "bullish" spirit will always be in my thoughts.
Love to Marge and her positive attitude through the tough times of "caregiving".
Sincerely,
Leon Harbold

Dear Marge and Family,
I was so saddened by the news of Jims passing-
I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss.
He was a wonderful man and always so helpful in figuring out problems with his problem solving strategies-
In 2011 we met at Food and Thought so he could give me reviews on a car, that I ended up purchasing.
I also always enjoyed and appreciated our dinners with him and Marge.
My prayers are with you.

Marge, I am sad to learn that Jim has left us. I picture him singing heavenly opera, which we both love, one aria after another.

Scott, I know how difficult it is to lose your father as my father passed last year. It is hard to appreciate how much influence our fathers have had on us, and somehow with all the remorse, we have to find some energy to recognize how lucky we are to have had such guidance and love in our lives. God's blessings on you and your family during this difficult time. Bill
