John Joseph Gilhooley

Mr. John Joseph Gilhooley died unexpectedly on July 1st 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 53. 
John was born in Long Island, New York to Joseph and Gwyneth Gilhooley on December 9, 1963. John is survived by his mother, Gwyneth Gilhooley of Naples, Florida. His brothers and sisters, Gwyneth Gilhooley of Naples, FL, Joseph Gilhooley Jr, Sarah Gilhooley, and Jerome Gilhooley of Miami, FL.  His children, daughter Denise Jager of Port Orchard, Washington, son, John Gilhooley Jr of Naples, Florida, son, Brian Walters of Mobile, Alabama, son, Matthew Walters of Fort Payne, Alabama, son, Christopher Gilhooley of Douglasville, Georgia; His two grandchildren, grandson Oliver and grandson Cooper. His nephews, Joe Gilhooley Jr of Westminster, South Carolina, Michael Gilhooley of Naples, Florida, Thomas "Tom" Gilhooley of Naples, FL. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Matthew Gilhooley, his aunts Catherine Gilhooley McPherson, Delores Gilhooley, And Sarah Gilhooley, and Cousin Mary Ellen McPherson Mannario. 


Visitation and memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday July 11th at 9-11 am at  Fuller Funeral Home, East Naples. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with a burial ceremony to follow at Palm Royale ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate John's life.
