John J. McMahon

John McMahon, 86 of Naples Florida, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017.  John was born November 10, 1930 in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada the son of Ambrose McMahon and Helen (nee Gogo).  A resident of Cornwall and Oshawa Ontario Canada, West Bloomfield, MI and Naples, FL.

John worked for Courtaulds, Ltd for 4 years, and spent 33 years with General Motors of Canada and General Motors Corporation in Detroit, MI.

John graduated from Queens University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada and then became a Certified General Account (CGA) and CPA.  He also received a lifetime member award from the CGA organization.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Evelyn (nee Bonneville) McMahon; his beloved children, Peter (Mary) McMahon of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and Robert (Kathy) of Ypsilanti, MI; his sister Betty (Jim) Mulligan of Seattle, WA, brother Tim (Clare) McMahon of St Catherines, Ontario, Canada, brother Joe (the late Anne) McMahon of Toronto, Ontario Canada; his cherished grandchildren, Paul McMahon of Canberra, Australia, Mathew (Maria) McMahon of Calgary, Alberta Canada, Caroline (Jake) McDonald of Canberra, Australia, Brenna McMahon of Ypsilanti, MI; two step-grandchildren Sean Dzobel of San Diego, CA and Karen Gordon of Bellville, MI and one great grandchild Evelina McMahon of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
