Juan Manuel Ortega

Juan M. Ortega , 63 of Naples died November 13, 2017. A long time resident of Collier County, Juan graduated from Naples High School, Class of 1972. He served in the U.S. Army Military Police . Juan worked for the Collier County Sheriff's Office and then for Collier County Emergency Medical Services. He retired as a Battalion Chief for EMS.

Juan is survived by his wife, Nora Alzate Vasquez; two sons, Nic and Andrew Ortega; step-daughter, Valentina Bolanos; step-son, Tommy Bryan; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Roy Ortega and sister, Laura Prescott.

Juan will be remembered at a memorial service to be held on Saturday, December 9th, 2017, 10AM-12PM at First Baptist Church Naples, 3000 Orange Blossom Drive, Naples 34109. In lieu of flowers donations in Juan's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
