Lucille Mendicino

Lucille Mendicino, age 88, passed away unexpected in her sleep on March 26, 2024. She had been a resident of Naples, where she worked as a dedicated front-end manager at Home Depot for over 30 years, coming from Tripp Park, Scranton, PA.

Lucille's greatest accomplishment in life was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always put her loved ones first. She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family.

In her free time, Lucille enjoyed reading and watching Hallmark movies. She found joy in simple moments and cherished spending time with her family and friends that she cared for immensely.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Mendicino (Carol); daughter, Janet Incelli (Joe); daughter, Patsy (Brian); 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mendicino; parents, Frank Zackowski and Stella Grabowski Zackowski; brothers, Bobby & Billy Zackowski and her sisters, Stella Burke and Jeanette Costanzi.

Lucille Mendicino will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved. May she rest in peace.
