Marjorie M. Gerali D'Amico

Marjorie M. Gerali D’Amico, 95, made her transition to be with her Lord and Savior on August 5, 2017. She was one of nine children born to Augustino and Maria Theresa Scianna in Lafayette, Louisiana. Marge married Army Sergeant Alfred Gerali in 1942 and raised their family in the Chicagoland area. She worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” during WW ll making armaments for the US Military. Following the war she worked for Bell Telephone, Cities Service Corp. and Arinc. Following Al’s passing in 1971, she married Carmen D’Amico in 1976 and in 1999 they moved to Naples, Florida. Carmen predeceased her in 2006. Survivors include her son James (Pamela) Gerali and daughter Kathie (Frank) White; granddaughters Michele (Brian) Rekett and Jennifer Gerali; great granddaughter Kayla (Sean) Ramsaier and great-great granddaughters Rylee and Chloey Ramsaier. Marge is also survived by her youngest brother, J. Paul Scianna and many nieces and nephews. Marge was an amazing baker who was well known for the many types of cookies she baked. She was a beautiful, loving and generous spirit who will be missed by all. God has received a new angel. Interment will be private at Palm Royale Cemetery Mausoleum
