Pat was my coach at Chesterton High School,her first classes. She changed my life. Creating interschool Girls Basketball and softball tournaments in spite of no support from school officials.
Being an athlete ,well trained and focused on good sportmanship ,so essential to way I dealt with life and its challenges even in my 72nd year. So glad she continued to be an athlete as golfer!
I just now learned of her passing.
I would like to know a bit about how she died...I'm guessing with the same courage and determination as she lived?

So saddened to hear of Pat's passing. We worked together at Lake Station Edison High School and became good friends. She did so much for the young women in our community and the state. She will never be forgotten and her legacy will carry on. Our deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
