Ronald Schefkind

Ronald Schefkind, 85 of Naples died on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

Born in Danbury, CT the son of Morris and Pearl (Golden) Schefkind. Ronald graduated from the University of Connecticut  in 1954 which led him to a successful career in the food service industry. Ronald worked as an executive for many large companies including, Pillsbury, Tetley Tea and Fonda Paper. Ronald and his wife Judith lived in several cities across the eastern seaboard eventually owning and operating the Four Chimney’s Inn in Bennington, VT. They later retired to Naples in 2000. Besides being a food connoisseur Ronald was a sports fan extraordinaire, he especially loved the New York Yankee’s, Giants and the UConn Huskies.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Judith ( Krantz) Schefkind, two sons; Mark (Sandy) Schefkind of Bethesda, MD, Steven (Diane) Schefkind of Monroe, NJ, his daughter; Lauren (Mark) Taylor of Geneva, NY and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Alan Schefkind.

A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples. The family will begin to receive visitors at 9:30 am.
