Sharai "Saudi" Cantwell

Sharai “Saudi” Cantwell , 52, of Naples Florida, passed away on July 28, 2017 at Avow Hospice. The daughter of Elias & Reinalda Seda, she was born in Long Island, New York. Married to Keith Cantwell for 16 ½ years, she moved to Naples, Florida in 1983 from Columbia, South Carolina.
Saudi was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and faithful wife. Life wasn’t always easy for her. But with every challenge came a life lesson that made her will stronger and her passion for success greater. She lived life her way and spoke her mind without reservations. If she loved you she would defend you fiercely. Strength and Saudi are synonymous. No obstacle was too big when she made her mind up. God gifted her with her mother’s talent for cooking which will be sorely missed.
Saudi turned her lifelong passion for dogs into successful businesses. These businesses catered to a multitude of canine needs. Her grooming was sought after by many in the show ring. She was a breeder of merit with AKC, always maintaining a professional practice, studying her craft in depth, and consistently reaching out to learn more. Saudi was small in stature but not to be underestimated. She feared no dog; in fact, she had a way with the unruly ones. These businesses evolved into an extended family not bound by geography.
For 7 years Saudi was a treasured member of the PAWS team. Sharing a passion for dogs and the desire to help those with life-changing disabilities. She helped care for and train service dogs. Her bright smile and infectious laugh will forever be missed.
Saudi is pre-deceased by her mother, Reinalda and her brother in law, Fred. She is survived by her husband, Keith; father, Elias; sisters, Marie & Ericka; sons Michael, Adam & Chris; step daughters, Tiffany & Rice; son in law, James; daughter in laws Jackie, Erin & Holly; grandchildren Ben, Harper, Samuel, Ansley & Asher; brother in law, Jim; niece & nephews, Hunter, Maisie, Cory & Brendan; and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 3rd from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples with a funeral ceremony celebrating her life at 7:00 p.m. A private family committal service will be held at a later date.
