Tom was a special friend and co worker to a lot of young people in the tobacco business
He shared his knowledge and experiences with us all.It was my privilege
to have worked with and for Tom in the US and Brazil. for my 34 years in the business He will be missed by us all.

Nancy and Family,
Sincere condolences on Tom's passing. I have many fond memories of Tom and the few years we were neighbors in Dixie Subdivision. Tom used to scale the fence to visit us, pitch horseshoes with Dad and harass my Mom, who truly loved it. Tom was her prodigal son. He loved to compete with Dad on who would get the first ripe tomato each year, even going so far as painting a green tomato red to claim the honor. I, personally, enjoyed playing golf with Tom at Avon during his summer breaks from tobacco buying. He was a very kind and caring person. Time and distance may have separated us but not good memories. May he rest in eternal peace and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. Peace be with you.

Sincerely,

Joe Fast

Nancy and Family,
Sincere condolences on Tom's passing. I have many fond memories of Tom from your early years living behind my family on Charleston Court. Tom would scale our fence to pitch horseshoes with Dad or harass my Mom, who dearly loved it. Tom was our prodigal son. He would also compete with Dad on who would have the first ripe tomato of the year even going so far as to paint a tomato red to win the honors. Our neighborly time was short but not inconsequential. I, personally, enjoyed playing golf at Avon with Tom during his summer recesses. He was a kind and caring man and a friend to our family. Years and distance may separate us, but not memories of good times together. May he rest in eternal peace and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Peace be with you.

Sincerely,

Joe Fast
