Thomas "Tony" Marshall Jarnagin, 81 of Elgin, IL passed away, Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 at his Florida home.Tony is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret (Bowens) Jarnagin; son, Shawn (Amy) Jarnagin; daughter, Colleen (Dave) Pasteris; son, Timothy (Karen) Jarnagin; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sister and brothers, Helen Fillipone; Dayton (Ruth); Justin (Julie); many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles and sister, Dorothy Todaro. Thomas was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 32 years; retiring from a career he truly enjoyed. He received many distinguished awards including 20 gold wreaths; he was honored as Recruiter of the Year. Senior Chief Jarnagin finished his career as the squadron chief for VR51. A big fan of country music, he loved to sing. The family will receive family and friends on Friday, February 10th, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, FL. 34112.
