NAPLES, FL – Bob Kiffney, age 91, originally from Queens, NY, passed away on April 10, 2024 surrounded by loving family.  Bob was a graduate of Holy Cross College, receiving his BS in Social Science in 1954.  He received his JD from Albany Law School in 1961 and passed the NYS Bar Exam.  He was an officer in the US Marine Corps from 1952-1956, during the Korean War.  Bob was a Corporate Real Estate Attorney, spending the bulk of his career with General Electric in Schenectady, NY, from 1975-1995.  Bob was a loving husband, marrying Elizabeth in 1967 and remaining married to her for the entirety of his life, for over 56 years.  Bob and Liz had three children, Robert (1968), Christina (1969), and James (1977).  Those children begat 5 grandchildren, with an additional 2 added through marriage.  Bob was the perfect father, coaching sports teams and building a tree house on their half acre property in upstate NY.  He taught his kids humility, honesty, and hard work and paid for all of their college expenses at private 4-year institutions.  Besides annual family vacations to the Jersey shore, Bob enjoyed tennis and played in a group affectionately called the “Nuts” in Niskayuna, NY.  Bob and Liz retired to St Augustine, FL in 1995 and spent the majority of their years attending St Anastasia Catholic Church and as members of the Marsh Creek Country Club.  Preceded in death by his parents Gustin and Josephine Kiffney, and his brother Thomas, Bob was survived by his wife and three children and seven grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 26, 2024 at St. William Catholic Church in Naples, FL.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, www.t2t.org supporting veterans and first responders, is preferred.
