William Frewald

William J. “Bill” Frewald of Naples, FL, formerly of Arlington, MA, and Sharon, MA, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018. Born in the Bronx, NY in 1930, he was the son of Isadore Frewald and Anna Horowitz Frewald.

Bill is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathleen Mattson Frewald; son, Stewart Frewald (Dorothy) of Medfield, MA; son, Robert Frewald of Howell, MI; and daughter, Dr. Dori Frewald Mock (Steven) of Needham, MA; grandsons, Jon Frewald of Millis, MA; and Steven Frewald (Erin) of Portland, ME; and granddaughters Lauren Mock and Audrey Mock of Needham, MA.

Bill served in the U.S. Army and was a long-time employee of WCVB-TV in Boston. He enjoyed traveling the world and attending opera, symphonies and theatre in both European and the U.S. venues.

Interment will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
