Ada Mary Ganz Timblin was born in Chicago, IL on October 22, 1928 and peacefully passed away on April 11, 2021.
For those who knew and loved Ada, she was a free spirit who never stayed still for very long. Following her graduation from Ray Vogue School of Design, Ada worked as a designer of children’s clothing for a number of years. She then worked civil service at Fort Sheridan, where she received Certificates of Commendation and Appreciation during her career. Her travels included Europe, the Middle East, and across the United States.
Upon her retirement in 1980, Ada moved to Naples, FL to join her family. She was a parishioner of St. Williams Church and a Rosary maker.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. Charles L. Timblin and by her parents Serafino and Irma Ganz. She is survived by her sister Maria DeMarco, her nieces Annamaria Seward, Carla DeMarco, and Loretta DeMarco, and great-nephews Preston Seward (Rachel) and Parker Seward.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Williams Church on Monday April 19th. 10am with a one hour visitation preceding the Mass. Private burial in Wheeling, WV will be held at a future date.
