Ann Sharon (Addeo) Larson

Bright, vivacious and known for her outgoing personality Ann Sharon Larson joined the angels on June 10, 2018 after leaving the loving arms of her daughter, Kim Larson Collins, while listening to her favorite Frank Sinatra songs. Born and raised in Hillsdale, NJ she was the only child of Sebastian and Dena Addeo. A graduate of the St. Vincent Academy in Newark, NJ.,  Ann was a founder and Chair of the Metropolitan School, in St. Louis, MO.  A private school dedicated to the care and education of children with learning disabilities.   As a mother of two daughters and a step-mother of three boys she recognized early on, that all children, need and deserve the special attention that creates well rounded, successful, independent adults. Her professional life took her to Coldwell Banker in St. Louis where she started a second career as a realtor; she was known for her passion and drive in serving families finding homes.  Among her passions and hobbies she enjoyed bridge with the girls, golf at Forest Hills Country Club in Chesterfield, MO, she was on a bowling team, and took great pleasure in flower arranging classes at the Arlington in Naples.  But perhaps Ann will best be remembered for her fabulous cooking and entertaining, she loved music and dancing.  She was the quintessential “Hostess with the Mostest”. Her lovely smile, and joy of life endeared her to her many friends who were so special to her and whom she dearly loved in return. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Larson Collins (Philip), step sons Alfon W. Larson, III (Laurie), William Craig Larson (Nancy), Terry Dean Larson (Debbie), grandchildren John Rose, Stacia Lovelock, Justin Larson, Sean Larson and five great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her ex-husband and dear friend Alfon W. Larson, Jr.  She is preceded in death by her late husband, Dominick Procopio and her beloved daughter Linda Parker Larson.

Memorial service Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the The Arlington of Naples, 7900 Arlington Circle, Naples FL 34113 in the Cultural Arts Center, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers friends are asked to donate to their local children’s charity of choice.
