Anne Katherine Blewitt

Anne Katherine Blewitt, 82, of Naples, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.

Anne grew up in Kingston, PA and graduated from Kingston High School. She then attended Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her R.N. Subsequently, she received her B.S. in Nursing Education from Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

In 1962, Anne married Dr. George Blewitt, and they subsequently had four children to whom she devoted her life. Anne and George had wonderful experiences living in the Philadelphia suburbs, Northern California, Northern New Jersey, Central Pennsylvania and Naples, Florida.

Anne is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, George; her beloved children, George (Cheryl) Blewitt of West Chester, PA, Mary (Bill) Kemper of Bethesda, MD, John Blewitt of Bridgeport, PA and Patrick (Shannon) Blewitt of North Wales, PA; eight cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Jack, Patrick, Lindsay, Colin, Grace, Maggie and Jake; and her brother, Ken (Ann) Swanson of Boise, ID.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples. Inurnment in the St. Agnes Catholic Church columbarium will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Agnes Church (www.st.agnesnaples.org) or St. Matthew's House (www.stmatthewshouse.org).
