Your mom, dad and you were wonderful neighbors in Elm Grove and I send to you and your
family my thoughts and prayers as your mom transitions to her next role as guide and witness of your unfolding lives.. She was a grand lady. God bless you.

I remember first meeting Mrs. Artz, a golf 'buddy'' of my mothers. What a fabulous personality, and what a fabulous person. She always made you feel so welcome into the 'group'. Had several dinners with Arlene and my mom Vi...women like that are not made anymore.

Goodbye Mrs. Artz, you were loved and respected.

I remember vividly the love and joy in the Artz household on Beach Road On Oconomowoc Lake.
Arlene was a big part of my childhood there. Her daughter Susan my dearest friend. Arlene had a brilliant, intellectual mind and balanced it with excelling at all athletics including tennis and golf.
She was a mentor to us young girls even then. She and Dick were always a step ahead. Living
On the Brookfield Farm early, year round on Oconomowoc Lake when it was still a summer spot and moving to Naples early on. We all just wanted to be near them as they made you feel so good about life. Arlene and Dick were the embodiment of that era, the best of times. A great lady, may she Rest in peace.
