Barbara J. Mack

Barbara Mack, 86, of Naples, Florida passed away unexpectedly with her family by her side on May 9th, 2017.  Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Richard Mack of Naples, Florida; son, Robert and his wife, Patricia of Weston, MA; daughters, Dorothy and her husband, Shane Grant of Groton, MA, Margie and her husband, Ray Wauford of Westford, MA; and daughter-in-law Loreta Mack of Nashua, NH.  Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Stephen, in 2007.  Barbara was a loving grandmother and leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Cristina, Thomas, Brian, Olivia, Grace, Luke, Michael, and Samantha.  She was also great grandmother to Leonardo.  Barbara is survived by her sister, Maryann of Media PA and her five children.

Barbara grew up in Philadelphia, PA and raised her family in Groton, MA and then retired with her husband in Naples, FL.  Barbara spent many wonderful summers and winters in Sunapee, NH for over forty years.  Barbara was a graduate of Trinity University, Washington, DC, and subsequently earned a journalism degree from the University of Missouri.  Barbara led a very full and active life in the community, committed to service through involvement with Catholic Charities and other organizations, such as Literacy Volunteers of Collier County.  Barbara, a Dame of Malta, faithfully served the Catholic Church and was an Eucharistic Minister.  Barbara had an active social life with many dear friends.  Barbara is remembered fondly by all of the lives she touched from Groton to Naples.
