Bernadette C. Bridges

Mrs. Bernadette Christina Bridges of Naples, FL, aged 83 passed peacefully away on Saturday, Jul 08, 2017, after a prolonged illness. She was born May 29, 1934, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Ellen Shortt, husband Allan Bridges and sister Margaret Weems. She is survived by sons, Shaun and Kevin Bridges, United Kingdom and two daughters , Sharon Bridges, United Kingdom, and Jemma Lanzet of Naples; also brother, Patrick Bridges, United Kingdom; sisters Anne Warren, United Kingdom, and Carole Zani, Australia, along with numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild. Berna joined her sister, Margaret, and daughter, Jemma in the USA in the 1980s after numerous visits. She was especially fond of travel with Margaret and they spent many enjoyable hours reminiscing and planning the next trip. Visits from her children remaining in England were always anxiously awaited. Reading and watching vintage TV shows were a passion. An empty place will never be filled in our hearts.
