Beverly Gene Friar

Beverly(Bev)Gene Friar (nee Kapellush), of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully on November 1, 2018. She was 85 years old. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin. Beverly and her beloved husband, James (Art)Friar, Sr were married in Angola,Indiana 67 years ago. She is survived by her husband Art, son James(Jim)Friar,Jr., and daughters Pamela(Pam)Walkup and Teresa(Terri)Hart. Their grandchildren are Ronald Thomas(Tom) Martin Jr., Chad McKinley, Jenny Martin and Lucas McKinley. Their great grandchildren are Scarlett Martin and Madison Walburn. Beverly was proud to have worked at the intercom desk at The Naples Airport Authority for many years. Art and Bev loved to camp and travel together. They had visited every state in the United States together. They loved to boat and fish in their younger years together and enjoyed nature. A small family gathering will be held at the Barrington Terrace on Sunday, November 11th at 3:30pm. Art and Bev were members of Marco Lutheran Church.
