Carl F. Ullrich

Carl F. Ullrich, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on July 11, 2022 surrounded by his family in Naples, Florida.  Carl was born on April 4, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio and relocated to Naples in 1972.  He is survived by his wife, Beth (her son Hayden); his daughters, Cathy (Brad) and Lisa (Mack); and his brother, Robert, as well as four grandchildren, Melissa (CJ), Jonathan (Rebecca), Nicholas and Hayden.  Carl was also survived by four great grandchildren, Annabelle, Olivia, Abigail and Violet. 

Carl was a successful General Contractor for many years and often did most of the building himself without subcontractors.  He taught himself how to sail and enjoyed many hours in his 28’ Irwin sailing the Gulf waters.  He was known for his creative thinking and zest for life and his legacy will live on through the wonderful memories his family and friends enjoy.

There will be a casual “Celebration of Life” open house from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20th at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to “The American Kidney Fund.”
