Cecilia D Szuberla

Cecilia Ducharme Szuberla died peacefully in her sleep on November 27th, 2017. Born March 24, 1932, in Red Lake Falls, MN, she was tenth of twelve children of Albert and Loria (Grandbois) Ducharme.

Cecilia and her husband, Charles A. Szuberla, married on September 1, 1951, in the Church of St. Mary's in Virginia, MN. After a year attending the University of North Dakota, she left school to support her husband as he completed his final year at UND.

An avid Bridge Player and Golfer, Cecelia was a member of several bridge clubs, ladies groups, Tides, and Red Hat Ladies.

In addition to her husband, Charles, Cecilia is survived by three children, Cathy Mason (Brian), Charles Jr. (Marrianne), and Curt ((Alice); three grandchildren, Leonard Mason (Tara), Kate Jauch (Scott), Kristy Duddy (Matthew) blessed her with eight great-grandchildren, Andrew, William, and Greta Jauch, and Matthew, Mason, and Dylan Duddy, and Levi and Stella Mason. Her son, Leonard John (1956-1968), died in a drowning accident.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 5th, 10:30AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, Naples. Final committal is private.
