Charles Anthony Morss, Jr.

Charles Anthony Morss, Jr., 90, passed away after a long illness on May 9, 2022. Charlie was born on October 1, 1931 in New York City, NY. He earned a B.A. from Yale University in 1953 and a MBA from Wharton in 1955. He was vice president of New England Mutual Life Insurance Company in the private placement investment department. He served for 20 years as president and executive director of the Youth Center of the Federated Dorchester Neighborhood Houses, Inc. Charlie was a frequent contributor to the Corporate Financing Weekly.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Graham Morss; sons, Steve and Dr. Alex Morss; daughter, Lyza Morss and his grandchildren, Alexandra, Abigail, Caroline, Charles and Lily Morss and Charlotte Levasseur.  He was predeceased by his parents, Charles A. Morss and Sylvia Eldredge Morss; siblings, Sylvia Morss Page and Marilyn Morss MacLeod and his son, Charles A Morss, III.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bower Chapel at Moorings Park, 142 Moorings Park Dr. Naples, FL 34105.
