Charles "Chuck" Dent Hinebaugh

Charles “Chuck” Dent Hinebaugh departed this mortal coil April 26, 2022.  Born June 2, 1926, he was happy he had his extended warranty that kept him going for nearly 96 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lillian, who passed August 26, 2009. He leaves two children, Mark and Diana. Charles and Lillian traveled the globe and conquered every continent save Antarctica, which they wisely left for their son to deal with.

No one who ever met Chuck forgot him. Whether he recited you a poem, made a silly pun, or sang you a song, he gave his all to make everyone he met feel special, and as a whole, tried his life entire, to make people happy. In that we can say he succeeded.

His ashes will be spread with his wife’s in the wilds, on top of a mountain, in Virginia. So long for now dad.
