Christopher J. Lesieur, of Naples, Florida, formerly of South Hadley, MA, passed peacefully at home on October 3, 2019.
Chris was born in Holyoke, MA on March 10, 1952, to Alfred and Kathryn (Dowd) Lesieur. He served in the US Marine Corp and is a Veteran of the Vietnam war.
Chris was in the construction and contracting business for the majority of his life and took great pride in doing projects in his homes and helping many others with their construction projects. He was an avid boater and fisherman and loved being on the water. Taking trips with family and friends up the Connecticut River on his boat, and spending many summers at his family campsite in Connecticut were great joys of his. Chris also spent a lot of time on the Connecticut shores of Niantic and Old Lyme and built many friendships along the water there.
Chris is predeceased by his parents; stepmother, Cecile Lesieur; and brothers, Joseph Lesieur and Thomas Lesieur.
He is survived by his sisters; Kathryn Suslik and Beth Fugate; and brother, Alfred Lesieur. He is also survived by his three children; Melissa Monaco, wife of Christopher L. Monaco, Nicole Lesieur, and Jacob Lesieur, son of Kara (O’Donnell)Lesieur. Also his four grandchildren; Hailey Stuart, Tyler Stuart, Connor Stuart and Faith Lesieur.
A celebration of Christopher’s life will take place at the family’s convenience.
