Christos Dimitrios Georgiadis

Christos Georgiadis, 86, of Naples, FL, formerly of Chicago, IL by way of Greece and Brazil, passed away on March 3, 2019. Born in Greece, he served in the Army as a tank mechanic. In his mid-20s, he moved to Brazil to start a business, where he met and fell in love with his future wife, Nair. The couple soon settled in Chicago, where they raised two children. Christos worked more than 30 years as a union truck mechanic, after which he moved to Naples, FL to enjoy his retirement years with Nair. Christos was a loving husband and dedicated father. He spoke several languages (he would say 4.5 languages, with English being the half!) and enjoyed traveling the world. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Nair Georgiadis, his daughter Caliopie (Adam) Walsh, his son Demetri (Ellen) Georgiadis, and his granddaughter Sadie June Walsh.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday 4pm at Fuller Funeral Home 1625 Pine Ridge Road.
