June 14, 1960 ~ January 4, 2023 (age 62) 62 Years Old

Tribute

Craig Terrillion, 62, of Naples, FL, passed peacefully Wednesday, January 4, 2023 under the care of Avow Hospice in Naples, FL.  Craig was born on June 14, 1960 in Lowville, NY and was the beloved son of the late Bernie and Zeke Terrillion.  Surviving Craig are daughter Meghan Watt (Scott White), granddaughter, Ayla, three siblings Julie (Stretch) McCanney, Wayne (Leslie) Terrillion and Gretchen (Kevin) Collins.  Craig was everyone’s favorite uncle and he had a special bond with each of his nieces and nephews; John (Brittany) McCanney, Michael (Emily) McCanney, Derek Terrillion, Jessica (Dante) Hamn, David (Susie) Terrillion, Erin (Tom) Collins and Patrick Collins.

Craig graduated from Lowville Academy in 1978 and Canton ATC in 1980.  Soon after graduation, he moved to Naples, Florida which soon became his permanent home.  Craig worked for over 30 years as an MEP technician for Naples Community Hospital where he developed some of his most cherished, lifelong friendships.  He fully embraced the sunshine, weather and lifestyle that Southwest Florida has to offer, but always considered Lowville “home”.  He treasured the time he spent fishing, golfing, and on the water with family and friends.  Craig had a jolly, infectious personality and was able to form special relationships everywhere he went.  He was thoughtful and looked out for his loved ones (especially known for checking in before a big storm to make sure they were prepared).  He enjoyed the annual camp weekend back home in Highmarket, NY, where he got to spend time with friends and family, old and new.  He was a Jets and Syracuse Football fan and you could always count on debriefing with him after a big game.  He was the life of the party, the light of the room and was gifted at making others laugh.
In honor of Craig’s wishes, the family will not be holding any funeral services at this time and will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, consider a donation in Craig’s memory to a charitable organization of your choice.
