David Seda

Our beloved father, David Seda of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully in his home on December 28, 2018 at the age of 78. He fought cancer and its complications for close to two years prior to his passing.

David was born on December 14, 1940 at Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York to Joseph Seda and Frances Seda de Seda of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico.

From the age of 16, David was a hard worker taking pride in everything he earned, motivated by his passion to take care of and improve the lives of his loved ones.

At 32 years of age, David married Maria Luz Almonte. They remained married for 22years and raised three children in their home in Queens, New York.

David was a very giving man who lived a simple life. He would do anything for anyone in need without expecting anything in return. He loved to help his children, siblings, nieces and nephews, often opening his home without hesitation to anyone who needed a safe place to stay.

Those who knew David will always remember his quirky sense of humor which was a big part of his personality until the end of his days.

David’s generous heart, protective spirit, and ever-present sense of humor will be remembered and cherished by children Denise Seda Martino and her husband Rossano Martino; Duane David Seda; Julia Florinda Seda; his siblings Alfred Seda and wife Tessie Seda; Christina Seda Valencia, Elias Seda, Steven Seda and wife Jeannie Seda, Julia Seda Hernandez and husband Hermès Hernandez and grandchildren; Mila Sofia Martino, Alexandro Martino, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In his passing, David he will join, in addition to both of his parents, his siblings Pastor Peter Seda, Mary Seda Rivera, Joseph Seda, Henry Seda, and John Seda.
