Diane Nowicki of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Gulf Shores, AL, and Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2019.  Diane is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Edmund Nowicki, and survived by her children, Karyn Nowicki of Scottsdale, AZ, Kathryn (James) Dudley of Bonita Springs, FL, Kimberly (Michael) Brogan of Chesterfield, MO, and Kerry (Daniel) Finkel of Chicago, IL, She will also be remembered by her 8 beloved grandchildren, Kyle,  Audrey Paige, Meghan,  Bridget, Kelsey, Scott, Zackary and Henry, and many nieces and nephews. Diane was born in Chicago, IL, on September 18, 1937. She had a business degree from Colorado University in Boulder.  Diane married the love of her life, Ed, in 1958.  Together they enjoyed raising their four daughters in Lisle, IL, where they resided for many years.  Diane used her keen business sense while she worked as a bookkeeper at the Bank of Lisle and then at Amurol Manufacturing in Naperville. Diane and Ed moved to Gulf Shores, AL to enjoy their retirement years.  They found their paradise there among the sunshine and gardens along the coast.  Diane enjoyed the weather and the fauna, and became a Master Gardener while maintaining her beautiful home.  She and Ed formed many wonderful friendships that lasted a lifetime.  Diane had a quick wit, a strong sense of faith, and a love of family.  The family will be holding a private ceremony in Naples, FL.  Our family would like to thank everyone for your outpouring of love.  In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial gifts can be made to ChildrensPSC.org, in support of a family member that Diane loved dearly. Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed, and very dear.
