Donald Henry Crepon

Donald Henry Crepon, 91, of Naples Florida passed away September 9, 2020 after a short illness.  He was the son of Frank H. and Kathryn (Koehn) Crepon. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia (Claire) last year. 

Donald was born in Waterbury CT on December 23rd 1928 and graduated from Crosby High School.  He served in the United States Navy, after which he earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Yale University.  He worked for 30 years at Pratt and Whitney/United Technologies, East Hartford, CT while residing in Rocky Hill and South Glastonbury, CT.

Donald retired at age 55 and married Claire Harper in 1986.  They resided in Cape Cod or Vermont and Naples, Florida until living full time in Naples for the last 13 years. Donald was an avid Red Sox fan who took great pleasure and suffered much aggravation with his team.  He always showed a wonderful sense of humor, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Donald is survived by his nephew Norman Crepon, DMD of Waterbury, CT and his nieces Andrea Armbruster (Herman) of Terryville, CT, Phyllis Carrier of Glastonbury, CT and Claudia Donadio (Richard) of Grantham, NH; also by eight grand nieces and nephews and by stepdaughters Nancy (Bonnie) Harper of Lebanon, CT and Virginia (Ginny) Harper of Jewett City, CT. 

Donald was predeceased by his brothers Charles, Harold and Norman, Sr.; and also by his stepson David Harper.
