Donald Edward “Stogie” Stough of Naples, FL, formerly of Grove City, Ohio, passed away suddenly on January 4, 2019.
Stogie, Uncle Punk, was born July 30, 1936 in Commercial Point, Ohio to William and Marguerte (Pracht) Stough.
Stogie was an avid golfer at Lakewood Country Club and a member of Grove City Elks Lodge 37. He was a fan of the Buckeyes and the Browns. For all that knew him, he was a strong and one of a kind. There’s more that we can say but, we will leave it at that….
Survived by his loving and supportive wife of 63 years, Donna (Joiner) Stough. Stogie leaves behind Donna Joiner sister-in-law, four grandchildren Leia, Paige, David and Jacob Stough, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
He is predeceased by his sons, Robert, Rick and Randy, brothers, Jim (Satch), Sheldon (Red), and William (Bill), granddaughters Sierra and Sarah Stough and grandson, Nate Stough.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1pm at Fuller Funeral Home East, where the family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at StJude.org/memorial.
