Doris LaVonn Beehner

Doris LaVonn Beehner joined her parents on May 3, 2018, John M. Mobley and Mittie Irene McJunkin, and nine siblings, Vertyce, Joyce, Jean, Tom, Barnard, Troy, Bill, John T., and John R. in heaven for the biggest family reunion possible. She is survived by her husband, Douglas R. Beehner (married May 10, 1960), daughter, Dottie J. Godfrey Hamm; three grandsons, Derek (Dot) Hamm of Lehigh Acres, Greg (Christy) Hamm and Brad (Bonnie) Hamm both of Naples; granddaughter, Suzanne (Mike) Perry; six great-grandsons, Talon, Chayton, Dillen, Austen all of Naples, Ryan and Michael of Lehigh Acres; great-granddaughter Mollie of Lehigh Acres; and sister, Angie (Robert) Kenney of Ellijay, Georgia. Doris was a resident of Naples since September 1947 coming from LaGrange, Georgia. Born in Shawmut, Alabama where she spent her childhood. She worked at many jobs, including telephone company. She moved her church membership to the First Baptist Church of Naples on 8th Street S in the 50’s. God’s gift to her was she always found good in everyone she knew. Services will be Tuesday, May 8th from 9-11 AM at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, Florida 34109. Interment will follow at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Avenue N., Naples, Florida.
