Dupafait Nord, of Naples, FL, died on October 27, 2017. Born on November 16, 1963 in La Perriere, Haiti, he was the son of Madeleine Sepoudy and Paul Fils Aime Nord. He grew up with one brother and four sisters; he was the youngest. As a child, Dupafait was known for treating others with the utmost respect. He was very helpful and always put others before himself.
As a young man, growing up was not easy but when Dupafait met his wife, Servilie, nothing else mattered. After dating for some time, they decided to marry on December 26, 1987. Soon after, they had their first child, Joana. Then Natacha and Fergusen followed. To pave a way to a better life for his family, Dupafait traveled to the Bahamas on two separate occasions but, he was sent back to Haiti. On his third attempt he was successful. Not too long after, his wife joined him. They continued to expand their family and had Orisson in the Bahamas. When his wife became pregnant with their 5th child, Ivan, Dupafait made a very hard decision. He sent Servilie off to United States while he stayed back with Orisson. It didn't take Dupafait time to figure that he needed to be with his wife. He later joined her in the U.S. along with Joana and Orisson. There they had their last child, Lasner. They were more than excited to be reunited. They both knew their family was complete and together there was nothing that was impossible.
Dupafait fought a great battle before going home on October 27th, 2017. Dupafait will be remembered as a hard worker and a man who always volunteered to help before others. He was a dedicated to his family and loved his children more than anything in this world! He loved cooking and listening to music. He is a man that will forever be in our hearts.
