Eileen Ann Bednar

After a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease, Eileen Ann Bednar (nee Plesec), 84, of Naples, FL passed away on January 4, 2022, with her loving husband at her side. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Bednar, Sr, her three daughters, Kimberly (Scott), Betsy (Don) and Holly (Dan) and son, Kenneth, Jr (Debra), along with nine grandchildren, Casey (Danny), Erin (Brandon), Mary Catherine (Joel), Bethany (Dustin), Caitlin, Nicholas (Owen), Jake, Joseph, and Jack and two great grandchildren, Isla and Kelly.

Eileen was born in Cleveland on February 3, 1937, and was a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan. She and Ken relocated from coast to coast several times but spent the last delightful 20 years enjoying life in Naples.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, January 9th, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples. Divine Liturgy (Mass) will be celebrated on Monday, December 10th at 10:00AM at All Saints Byzantine Catholic Church, 10291 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers. Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 12th at 9:30AM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72(Clark Road) Sarasota, FL.
