Frank Giacomazzi

Frank Giacomazzi passed away at the age of 86 on May 17, 2017 in Naples. Frank was born May 12, 1931 at East Boston, MA to Joseph and Jenny Giacomazzi.  He grew up with two brothers, Al and Sam, and one sister, Margaret, and enjoyed playing drums for most of his youth.  He was an enthusiastic supporter of all Boston sports, and also loved to golf.  He was schooled in Belmont, MA, and attended the 1996 AMP course at Harvard University.  For over 44 years, Frank worked for Purity Supreme, starting his career as a clerk and working his way up to President and CEO of the supermarket.  

Frank married his childhood sweetheart, Vi, in September of 1950, and was the proud father of his daughter, Debbie, and later on of his son-in-law, Andy Shapiro.

Frank was incredibly passionate and proud of his family.  He is survived by his wife, Vi; his daughter Debbie Shapiro and her husband, Andy; his grandchildren Danny and Adam Shapiro; and five great grandchildren, Zachary, Jeremy, Logan, Mikayla, and Dylan.  We are forever blessed to have had Frank in our lives.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 10AM at St. Eulalia Church in Winchester, MA.  Burial services will be private.
