Frank A. White, age 92, passed away peacefully at his home in Naples, Florida on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.

The son of Elmer and Ernestine White, Frank was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he grew up and raised his family. Frank is survived by his loving family, his wife Kathie, his sons, Steven (Betty), Terry (Jeanne), David (Barbara), and Dennis,  his step-son Michael (Chris) Hoffmann and step-daughter Teri (Jeff) Barber. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Dick, son Geoffrey, daughter Tracy, late wife Sally and his late wife Patricia.

Frank served in the Marine Corp during World War II and was recalled to service in the Korean War. He was with UDT-Team 10, Underwater Demolition Team Ten, the forerunners to the Seals. Frank also served with the OSS and was awarded two purple hearts and a bronze star for his service in the Pacific Arena including Iwo Jima.

Frank graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison before working for the Milwaukee Journal, then pursued a successful career in advertising, sales, public relations and management, most notably in the billboard business with Naegele Advertising and Frank A. White Advertising. He ended his career as President and General Partner with Adams Advertising.

Frank deeply loved his family and is remembered by his sons as an energetic, charismatic and disciplined man who rarely put things off until tomorrow. He taught his children to be courteous, responsible and friendly. He was a natural people person and will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. 

A visitation and memorial service will be held Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 10:00 at Fuller Funeral home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, Florida.  Interment will take place immediately following the memorial service at Palm Royale Cemetery on Vanderbilt Beach Road.  In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to St. Matthews House, 2001 Airport Road S., Naples, Fl 34112 or to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, Fl 34105
