Gerald C. McDonough

Gerald C. McDonough, born June 10, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio; died March 28, 2021, in Naples, Florida.  Lovingly devoted to his family, Jerry was also a dedicated business professional, enthusiastic traveler, and avid golfer.  He contributed to the betterment of greater Cleveland as a place to live and work.  Predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Helen (née Burgess); parents Loretta (née Zirm) and John McDonough; siblings John McDonough, James McDonough, and Sally Ann (née McDonough) Moughan.  Survived by his children Timothy (Candyce) and Jillmarie (Greg Merriman); grandchildren Julie Spilker (Mark) and Megan Figliuolo (Steve); great-grandchildren William, Emma, and Timothy Spilker; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Memorial mass at Church of the Gesu, University Heights, Ohio, later this summer; private inurnment at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.  Memorial contributions to the McDonough Family Cancer Breakthrough Fund, Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, CWRU Bioenterprise Bldg #300, 11000 Cedar Ave, Cleveland OH 44106-7035.
