Geraldine "Gerri" Adell (Dykhuizen) Marsch

Geraldine”Gerri“ Adell (Dykhuizen) Marsch, 80, of Naples, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Naples Community Hospital on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from complications resulting from a long illness. 

Gerri was born April 30, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Maurice and Minnie Dykhuizen.  She married Edward A. Marsch on August 30, 1958 in Chicago.  Gerri met her future husband Ed while working as a waitress in high school.  After graduation, Gerri was employed by Harris Trust and Savings Bank.  During her husband's career with IBM, they lived in various cities across the country.  Upon retirement in 1991, they relocated to Naples from Darien, CT.  Ed and Gerri enjoyed Naples activities and their many cruises around the world.  Gerri was a long time member of St. William Catholic Church in Naples.

Gerri leaves behind her loving husband, Edward A. Marsch; her sons Edward (Ahlam), Michael (Julie), and Craig (Ivy); grandchildren Ashley (Pace), Leighana, Andrew, William, Jason and Joey; great-grandchildren Julianna and Mila; and sister-in-law JoAnn Dykhuizen.  She was preceded in death by her brother John Dykhuizen.
