HENRY NEIL GILMAN

H Neil Gilman of Naples, FL died peacefully Wednesday January 3, 2018 at AVOW Hospice in Naples, FL. He was a young 97.

Born in Minneapolis, he was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Cavanaugh Gilman, father of the late Patricia Taylor and the late Dennis Gilman, and Grandfather of the late Brian Neil Taylor.  

Neil is survived by a son Thomas and his wife Diana, two daughters Maura Gilman and Theresa Worley. He is also survived by seven Grandchildren; Justin, Chad, Kyle, Andrew, Connor, Jon and Liana as well as 5 great grandchildren.

Neil attended St. Thomas college in Minneapolis. He was a very proud veteran of the Navy, earning the rank of Commander. He had a long illustrious career in the investment business.

Neil was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Lions Club. As many know, he loved life and enjoyed every day he spent on this earth. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint William Catholic Church on Saturday January 13th at 11:00 AM.
