Helen Susan Luch

Helen Susan Luch, 93, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2022 at The Opal in Naples, FL. Helen was born April 18, 1929 in Bradley, Ohio to George and Anna (Dolnak) Palinchak. She spent her life caring for others. From 1950 to 1981 she was a surgical nurse, working at Ohio Valley Hospital, teaching at the hospital nursing school and then working at a nursing home. She moved to Naples, FL in 2000 where she then cared for children and volunteered at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Later in life when she needed to be cared for she moved to The Opal, where she enjoyed listening to musical performances.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 brothers and sisters and her husband, James, in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Susan K. Martin; granddaughters, Katherine (Conrad) Fleischmann and Christine (Craig) Henry and great-granddaughters, Harper, Emery and Lillian Henry; many nieces and nephews and the children she cared for in Naples, Jack & Will Valenti, Peter & Ava Weidner and Tyler Starnerro.

The celebration of her life will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd. Naples, FL 34109.

Memorial contributions in Helen's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
