Herbert William Desch, Jr., dear husband and loving father, died peacefully at home on May1st, 2022. Herb was born in Dayton, Ohio, on May 3rd, 1938, raised in Kettering, Ohio, only son of Herbert W. Desch, Sr and Elizabeth (née) Coe. Herb received his Bachelor degree from University of Cincinnati,1961. Herb earned his MBA from Indiana University, Bloomington,1963. Herb spent the majority of his business career with Anderson Consulting, serving as Managing Partner of the Milwaukee office and Managing Partner of the Anderson Q Center in St. Charles, Illinois.
Herb was an avid duck, pheasant, goose and deer hunter. Some of his favorite moments were spent in the duck blind with his best hunting buddy, his yellow Labrador retriever, Spud. Herb loved playing cards; Bridge with friends, Pinochle with his Ohio cousins and especially Euchre with his grandchildren. Although he very much enjoyed living near his friends in Naples, Florida, his heart was always rooted to his life at the cottage on Big Cedar Lake, in Wisconsin. Herb enjoyed the morning newspapers, entertaining friends, watching Packer games and taking long pontoon boat rides with his family.
Herb is survived by his wife Carolynn (née) Lindquist; sons, Kristian (Carolynn) Desch and Karl (Seetha) Desch, Carolynn Fisher and grandchildren, Olivia, Kaj, Genevieve, Arjun and Claudia.
A reception in celebration of Herb’s life will take place at the West Bend Country Club, 5858 County Hwy Z, West Bend, Wisconsin, 53095, 262-334-9541, on Wednesday, June 29th, from 1:00 to 5:30 pm.
