James Edward LaFevers, age 54, of Naples, Florida died on Sunday, February 18, 2018 peacefully at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Leona and Meredith, mother-in-law, Helen Silverman Harrison and son, Aaron Walker.
He leaves behind his wife, Debra LaFevers and children, Zachary Williams, Nicholas Williams, Sgt. Ezekiel LaFevers, Cadet Philip White, Benjamin Walker, Rebekka LaFevers, and Rachel LaFevers; his sisters, Karen Velazquez, Joanne Day (Allen) and brother, Randy Benner (Marlene); many nieces and nephews that he loved with all his heart; and dear friends that were family, Michael Garcia, Daniel Perez, Victor Padilla, Curtis Barlow and Bill Lardella.
A native to the sunshine state, Jim grew up in the South Tampa and was a 1981 graduate of Tampa Bay Technical High School. It was at Wilson Jr. High School where he first met Debra when they were young and reconnected years later. Jim and Debra moved to the Naples area in 2005. Jim was in the computer and printing industry, owned LaFevers WEB and worked for InTech Printing. Best friends, they built their family together, proving unconditional love to all those beneath their roof. Jim will forever be remembered as a loving father, devoted husband and loyal friend.
The funeral for Jim will be held on Sunday, Feb. 25th at 1:00 PM at Temple Shalom. Interment to follow at Palm Royale Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the LaFevers family at 29 Caribbean Road, Naples, Florida 34108.
