Jane M Hunt

Jane M. Hunt, 78, of Naples, FL, formerly of Levittown, PA, died in the early morning hours of June 20, 2018 after an extended illness. Born August 7, 1939 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy K. (Johnson) Coughlan. Jane graduated from Little Flower High School in Philadelphia and had a career as a sales associate with Gimbels Department Store.

Jane married John J. Hunt on September 29, 1956. Proud mother of their six children, Jane was a "Great Mom"; softball coach, den mother, recipe collector, food maker, and basketball champion. She took the kids to church every Sunday and spent all summer at the community pool with them.  She knew how to love with every inch of herself. She was known as "The Neighborhood Mom" who always had her eye on the kids. 

Jane had the best contagious laugh and she laughed loudest at her own jokes! Her favorite sayings were "Love you more" and "See ya-See-ya"!

She will be missed by all the people whose lives she touched including her devoted husband of 61 years, John; her children, John (Miriam) Hunt, Brian (Phyllis) Hunt, Karen (Joel) Graham, Kimberly (Terri) Laurenzi, Colleen (Robert) Maiorino, and Kathleen Jane (Kevin) Atkinson; grandchildren, Taylor Jane, Brandi, Karyn Jane, Brianna, Cady, Lindsay, Macy, Jessica, Jennifer, Samantha,Sarah, Karleen and Michael; and many of her "Favorite" nieces and nephews across the country.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, June 25th, from 4 -6PM at Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, FL 34112. The funeral service will be at 5:30 with Father Tim Navin officiating. A reception in Jane's honor will follow at the conclusion of the service. In lieu of flowers donations in Jane's memory may be made to the charity of choice.
